As Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8 crosses into its pivotal eighth week, the house has transformed into a high-stakes psychological battleground. Between grueling physical tasks, fractured team dynamics, and explosive weekend confrontations with guest host Ram ya Krishna, the contestants are realizing that masks are no longer protecting anyone.

Public sentiment has crystallized in a major way this week, with voting trends revealing a landslide victory for TTF Vasan.

- TTF Vasan: 56.17% (521,666 votes) — Insurmountable lead
- Shathiga: 12.31% (114,335 votes)
- Jason Kaushi: 4.99%
- Lakshmi Priya: 4.84%
This overwhelming public backing follows a roller-coaster week for Vasan, who previously captured headlines by hiding the diamond in an air-conditioning vent during the Heist King tasks, ultimately earning an Eviction-Free Pass gifted by Vimal. However, outside popularity does not buy peace inside the four walls.
The Red vs. Blue Divide and Kitchen Blockades
House dynamics took a sharp turn with the Week 7 Survival Battle, splitting the house into Red and Blue factions. Task after task, the rivalry intensified.
The Blue team—featuring Shathiga, Shama, Ashmitha, Dhanya, Lakshmi Priya, Vinoth, Mukesh, and Ansar—managed a stunning tie-breaker victory that locked the Red team out of the kitchen. Property damage arguments and simmering resentments boiled over when Jason Kaushi refused to take Avinash’s lead on the Red team, abruptly shifting his allegiance to Blue.
The ensuing chaos required frantic intervention from fellow housemates to keep physical altercations at bay, setting the stage for the tense “Quick Gun Cowboys vs. Mine Mafia” weekly tasks.
The Ram ya Krishna Storm: Jason’s Clash and the ‘Kurumpadam’
The most explosive moment of the week arrived during the weekend episode when actress Ram ya Krishna stepped in to host on behalf of Vijay Sethupathi.
Tempers flared when Jason Kaushi openly accused the host of attempting to manufacture a false narrative regarding the Muniyammal controversy. Despite repeated warnings from Ram ya to step back, Jason dug in his heels, threatening to walk out of the show if proven wrong.
The Turning Point: Refusing to let indiscipline slide, Ram ya Krishna ordered the airing of the definitive ‘Kurumpadam’ (truth video). The footage completely exposed the reality of the situation, instantly vindicating Muniyammal and leaving housemates standing firmly in her support. It was a masterclass in hosting that reminded everyone inside the house that accountability is inescapable.
Meanwhile, reality struck hard for Shama, who was asked whether she wished to utilize her Eviction-Free Pass. Declining the offer, Shama faced the verdict of the audience and was officially evicted, proving that sentiment alone cannot override public votes
